BYO Locations

Post by SushiNorth »

Please help me with a new wiki: byo.wikispaces.com, a listing of Bring-Your-Own establishments. As I drink in NYC, that's the majority of the content so-far. I've only just started (literally) and am looking for recommendations (and maintainers). Clearly this is an important topic, as we need to find places to drink port!

( I wasn't able to find any up-to-date websites on this topic, so I went out and started one :). xposted about)

Hmm? Some of the venues we have used give us special corkage rates because we go there regularly. Would they be happy if they found out we were revealing these rates on the net? Should we only publish "official" corkage rates?

Yes please, official corkage rates only. If we get special rates, that's because of personal relationships and don't extend to the masses. :)
We (TPF) could just keep a list of places we're "friendly" with; it might simply be that they accommodate our eccentricities, rather than offering a discount.
