A while . . .

Talk about anything but keep it polite and reasonably clean.

A while . . .

Am I to believe that not a drop of meaningless drivel has been poured in almost 3 weeks ?

Our collective jaw has dropped to the floor at the strange events enveloping the world, so that nothing one says could approach the meaningless drivel uttered by those sharing the blame for the cuurrent crisis.

Is this the first reference on this site to these evnts?
It may be drivel, but it's not meaningless.

No-one can be quite sure how the current 'subprime' crisis will map out, but it looks fairly certain that when the dust settles, the bloodiest noses will be in the financial sector, with few institutions escaping unscathed.

So it looks like we have our finger on the pulse of the global crisis. Or, we at least have the capacity to talk b*****s about it

Rocky as things were in August, Uncle Tom was clearly ahead of the pack. Perhaps Port Forum chaps should now be given positions of power and influence, akin to a Roman dictator when the going really got tough.

Uncle Tom = Cincinnatus?
It may be drivel, but it's not meaningless.
