Introduction Michael

Post by Michael M. »

Hello all,

nice to see all you friendly and able guys here!

My interest in port startet about 11 years ago. The last 2 years, it's a kind of sickness. According to my wife, person in support is near. I hope (s)he will love Port too.

Cheers

Michael,

Nice to have you here. You will find plenty of moral support here as well as Port support. You are also our first German, showing our truly international status :D

Enjoy the site and keep posting,

Welcome aboard Michael.

No airs and graces. Dive in and tell us about yourself and your Port experiences and aspirations, the fact we hopefully have a smile and learn a bit more as we all chug along, is a bonus. :D

Axel,

My German is not as good as Michael's (English humour!) but welcome to the site. I'm glad that you have found it.

I'm also very jealous of your branded tasting glasses and the avatar that you have got for yourself. Very nice!

Alex, (Axel, Apologies! To many Bloody Alex's on here. I'll leave the mistake, so the next few Posts make sense  )

Indeed, welcome aboard.

Your line about the Swedish Bikini team, in your first tasting note, when explaining 'perspective', was very amusing, and allowed my mind to wander from Port. :D
Keep it up...

Welcome Axel

I apologise for the inability of some of our senior members' abilities to see a name and reproduce it with their keyboards.

Good to have you here and I hope you enjoy yourself. I will be babelfishing any subsequent German and posting it. Bear in mind that I have a habit of using two or three other languages as staging before getting to English.

Anagrammatically yours,

Alex

Hi Axel,

Cheers

Hi Axel,

Hello! I was a few days in France and your message therefore only today saw. Great that you already contributed some Verkostungsnotitzen. To pro wine in the next year we can gladly together go. I have this year unfortunately to suspend to have, since I could activate the source, from which I had so far referred the map, not in time. And, great that Alex made itself times the trouble with the language of the poets and philosophers. Let us all in the next 6 months on German write. That would relieve me a little mine self-confident its to strengthen. :) .

Cheers
