Hi Everyone!

Post by SLT »

Stewart Todd here from Seattle.

I know some of you from the fortheloveofport.com site, and have been remiss in not signing up here sooner. I've certainly lurked here often, but am just now getting around to actually signing up! Glad to be here!

I live in Seattle, and have been professionally into Port for about 4 years now. I am very fortunate to be able to travel to Portugal during harvest each year to meet with winemakers and enjoy tasting some great wines. I've met some of you on the trips to Portugal, and others at various offlines. Hopefully I can meet more of you in person over a great bottle (or two) of Port!

My day job is working for a training consulting company, and I spend some of my free time managing the fortheloveofport.com website. The rest of my free time is spent with my two children (my son Alex is 11 and my daughter Emma is 7), playing softball in the summer, fly-fishing, travel, and taking advantage of the many outdoor opportunities that the Pacific Northwest offers.

I look forward to participating on the board here!

Warmest regards -
Stewart

Stewart! A very warm welcome indeed.

We have shared many fine ports together and I hope there are many more to come.

What a fine name for your son.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Welcome to :TPF: Stewart

Great to see you here and I'm looking forward to catching up over one or two glasses of Cockburn in October
