Hello!

Post by MrFrodo »

Hello all,

My other half and I love port and have recently been to Porto & the Douro for the first time. We had the good fortune to try some incredible ports and have a bottle of Taylors 1963 VP that we plan on drinking soon...

Hoping to expand our (presently quite small) port collection!

I stumbled across this forum while researching port before our visit to Porto and look forward to learning more and hopefully get involved with some tasting events with you all - we are based in Shropshire U.K.

Nice to meet you!

Hello and welcome. T63 is good. Some say it has plenty of life in it; some (incl. me) think it should be drunk soon.

Thank you.

We drank the T63 and made an evening of it (with music & film from 1963!).

It was good. I think the best port I have tasted although I am not as experienced as you all on here.

I have invested in a Dows 1966 and need to find an occasion for that next.

Perhaps this is the inspiration we needed for a 1966 horizontal?
