2009 Synchronicity

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Devon Valley. 53% Cab Sauv, 33% Merlot. Bottled in May 2012. Just starting to show some bricking on the rim. An amazingly developed cedar wood and cigar ash nose. Delicious palate, full of blackcurrant and cedar. The tannins are elegant and refined, giving a great pepperiness to the wine and a touch of cinammon to the finish. Great length. 94/100. Drunk 25-Mar-15.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
