Simonsberg. A Bordeaux blend from John Merriman. Cigar ash and cedar on the nose. Delicious palate, fruity and bouyant but with a strong tannic core and a lovely balance. A great palate presence. Very fine aftertaste and a huge finnish of great duration. A terrific wine that is still very youthful. 90/100. Drunk 25-Mar-15.
