2003 Chateau Musar

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Mature red colour, rose rim. Mature cigar ash and beef jerky on the nose. Gentle entry, soft and well balanced. Lovely mature leather and fruit on the palate. Air brings out a delicious fragrance. Elegant and mature but with soft tannins still showing. Delicious, mature and elegant finish. Good length. 94/100. Drunk 14-Jan-15.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
