Hemel-en-Aarde, Western Cape. A Mediterranean blend but the actual grapes are not disclosed. Deep red and opaque. Deep tobacco nose from a strong Shiraz component, pepper and black damsons. Gentle black cherry fruit and cracked black pepper on the palate. Refined and balanced, a delicious wine. 89/100. 25-Mar-15.
