2002 Veuve Cliquot

Post by LGTrotter »

Opened for lunch with my nephew (the ungrateful swine abandoned his glass half finished when offered Brewdog IPA by my brother), it is very secondary in flavour and I think is a bit gone over, but I have had others recently which tasted better than this. It may also taste a bit rough due to the magnificence of the Dom which I had last. A bit yellow and coarse to my taste, but a respectable champagne nonetheless. I have only a couple left and shall not hang around before drinking them. 88 points.

Or perhaps just an exceedingly clever ploy by your brother to ensure that he (your brother) got an extra helping?
