Noticeably straw in colour, not as fizzy as it was a couple of years ago but by no means flat (and certainly not as flat as the Dom is from this year). Emma is a little worried by this but I think you can taste the wine more clearly. Starting to taste of secondary flavours, lovely vinous and broad on the front of the palate and tightening, with more minerals as you go through the palate. This wine has rounded out and softened, I think that unless you have magnums it is time to get on with this one. It is by no means on the way out but as it can get no better it will get worse.
