2000 Château Beaumont
D+0h: cork comes out intact, rather some deposit in the bottle (big chunks) and in the tea filter I always use, smells intensively of blackberry D+1,5h: purple red, smells of blackberry (not that intensively as before), a little bit of eucalyptus and most of all of leather, medium to full body, there is a very plesant dash of residual sugar left in this wine, in the mouth young blackberry and a pleasant acidity, doesn't have much tannins left, rather smooth in the mouth, in the aftertaste there is young blackberry which also lingers on the tongue after swallowing the wine, good length (30 sec.), not an overcomplex claret, but a very tasty one, that I will definitely buy again.
