The second wine of Château Pontet-Canet, a Cinquième Cru of Pauillac.
D+0h: not much deposit in the tea filter that I always use, some deposit in the bottle, smells somehow of strawberries D+2h: purple red, on the rim a little bit cherry red, smells of blackberry and forest ground, a really full body, dry, but not harsh, in the mouth blackberry and forest ground, in the aftertaste blackberry and forestground (as well as a nice acidity), at the end, forest ground lingers on the tongue, good lenght (30 sec). A really good claret that gave me much pleasure (more than the ones I had over the last couple of weeks). I will definitely buy more of this one.
