NV The Wine Society Alfred Gratien Private Cuvée
The Wine Society's basic 'reserve' champagne. Light straw colour. Nose of melon. Fine mousse, a lot of acid, nice length in the finish and some dryness or toast as well. A little harsh in the mouth, something of an aggressive sparkle, like a carbonised drink.
