Got this in a mixed case from the Wine Society. A lovely nose - pepper, cloves and tobacco, and small preserved stone fruits. Young, lovely and heavy. In mouth this enters as lively, fresh currants, with great mouth-tingling acids, soft tannins that are powdery at first but more robust later; and a suggestion of a lovely dark, sweet morello flash, buried in the velvet at the end.
Good stuff.

I thought at first that this had a chocolatey toffeeish note at the end and then dismissed the idea. But it has just been independently verified.
