Drunk at the Haag winery with Oliver Haag on 12th August 2014.
One of the Haag 'Grosse Lage' or Grand Cru wines, as per the VDP's 'quality pyramid'. Botrytised, as shown by the gold-coloured capsule on the bottle. This is rounder again than the 2013 Goldkapsel, dried fruits are immediately evident – apricots primarily – and the acid is less green. A delicious, long, savoury finish.

My little black book says: has a more "denser" body with apricot, not that much acidity, good, but the 2013 was more lively
