Campbell's Old Rutherglen Muscat

Post by uncle tom »

As promised, I tried a swig this evening.

In the glass, a dark brown red colour - very viscous

On the palate it is very smooth and without fire, with a strong nose and palate of raisins. Very sweet.

To give it it's due, this is entirely drinkable and a mile better than any other fortified wine I've had from down under.

But it's not quaffing juice - much too sticky for that.
