Redoma Branco reserva 2004
Exhibiting a light golden color, this is has a pure expression of ripe pear, citrus, chalk, flint stone and some smokey flavours on the bouquet. It is precise and intense at the same time. On the palate, the wine shows the buttery texture of a chardonnay and the crispy acidity of a riesling though neither are present in this brilliant mix of indigenous grapes. The flavours on the palate are mainly on some buttery and citrus flavours with that chalk minerality leading the way to a very long finale focusing on citrus and fresh almonds. 18.5/20 Impressive stuff!
