A Year in Champagne (and A Year in Burgundy)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Having met David Kennard on Thursday I decided to spend Saturday night watching A Year in Champage (number 2 in the trilogy that ends with A Year in Port) with a glass of Warre 1985.

The film is available on Netflix (which is how I'm accessing it) or via iTunes.

So far, so good and it leaves me looking forward to the release of A Year in Port.

And now accompanying the port and film with a mature Gouda. Delicious.

Despite John Cleese not allowing the distribution of "Wine for the Confused" in the UK, I managed to get my hands on a DVD. If anyone wants to borrow it, you're welcome to. I'll bring it with me on Thursday.

Alex; as an "out of town"er, I would not be able to return it as quickly as others, but if you have no other requests, I would like to borrow the DVD from you, please?

It's in my backpack so I will have it with me.

And there is no need to return it. Please. I don't need to find a home for another DVD! Just pass it on to the next person who wants to watch the film.
