Deep red, mature and bricking. Big on the nose with cedar wood and wood ashes - very attractive. Mature fruit on the palate with delicious fruit, lots of cedar and gentle tannins; beautifully balanced and sumptuous. A slight tannic grip on the aftertaste with a pleasantly chewy finish. An absolutely wonderful wine; big, powerful and very well balanced. 92/100.
Drunk at the 2016 Doty Cup.
