2011 Casa Ferreirinha Quinta da Leda Douro

Here ADV posted tasting notes on a number of Ferreira ports and table wines.

This is what an open and ready to go Leda is all about. Bold fresh fruit with plenty of acidity and tannins to support long term aging. Lots of complexity on the palate and the finish goes on for minutes. I have no doubt the previous two bottles I had will come close to this when they are again ready for business. Lots of long term aging potential here. This is a must buy for any serious Douro wine lover.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
