From Victoria: The Queen, Julia Baird: “Queen Victoria was born, roaring, at 4:15 ᴀ.ᴍ., in the hour before dawn on May 24, 1819”.

The time convenient to us that is closest to the two hundredth anniversary of that would be the evening of Thursday 23rd May 2019.
And we did.

The placemats were printed twice, one copy being printed a few days before and being an older version. Pah.

A splendid evening, now slightly hazy in the memory, allegedly ‘guaranteeing’ Derek another year of immortality.

Are you sure? No 1965 on the list makes me doubt that this tasting helped with my immortality :?
