Imagine a tasting,

- where you have enough space for everything (glasses, spitoon, notes, notebook etc)
- where you can choose your own pace in silence
- where you have your winelist and can choose your own tasting schedule
- where the producers serve the wines and answer all the questions that arise
- in one of the best hotels in the city
- with some great accompanying programme on top

Happened from 2nd to 4th May in Porto. List of some 100 reds, 60 whites and 50 Ports to taste exactly like mentioned above:

That’s three days, for 210 wines. Seventy per day. I’d have palate exhaustion. Didn’t you?

You have to put in a schedule, but it works. You eventually get used to it. For Port they didnt explain enough, I thought.
