A splendid evening, full of surprises. Not often that a table is graced with Pç74. And the spread of points fairly showed that much Port could be drunk with pleasure.

Thank you to Charles for arranging.

Sounds like an interesting and enjoyable evening, wish I could have been there.

Avery '70? Interesting. I'm sure that reminds me of something... I wonder if it reminds Julian of anything...

A very well timed and well organised emergency by Charles. Some really interesting and lovely ports on show. The S60 was most unusual both in colour and to drink, not as it should be but very nice. The Cr63 improved throughout the evening but was not at it's best. WOTN was Mike's reserve bottle and a very lovely T77 that was right on the money. I was very pleasantly surprised by my Pocas 74. The first time I have had this unsung vintage and it was great. I just wish I had another bottle or 6. The Cockburn 67 was also a lovely glass and it sets up Tony's 67 tasting as one to very much look forward to. A very fine evening and also very nice to meet Bob who I hope we shall enjoy the company of again... if we didn't put him off! Thanks to all and as always to the Flogger for looking after us brilliantly as always.

Can't add anything to the above really, other than to add my thanks to Charles for getting us organised and the B&F for the usual great service. Addition of tasting notes compromised by leaving them on the table
