It may be my browser cache playing tricks. I can see Derek and Rupert on the order, but no food against Rupert's name.

Edit: ah, also just noticed I was after "Chargrilled sirloin steak 220g with hand-cut chips and grilled tomato" rare, rather than "Rare Sirloin of Beef" which I think is a cold dish. I wonder if others also intended the hot dish rather than the cold.

Re-uploaded.

Herding casts. What do people want? (And it might well be too late.)

No. People have ordered what they have ordered. I ordered Sirloin and that is what I wanted. If others ordered one thing and meant another it is a problem of their own making.

Please bring a printout of the requests in the thread to ensure no one eats my Sirloin.

Actually, scratch that. As far as I can see everyone asked for "Sirloin steak", which JDAW turned into "Sirloin of Beef". If there is a mistake, it is JDAW's mistake. Please cope.

JDAW took their approximate orders, found the matching thing on the menu, copy-pasted that, and made it available for confirmation and correction.

Hmm?

Perhaps flash_uk's could have been easily misinterpreted, unlike the others.

But we shall eat what we eat and be thankful to JDAW for organising.

Not helped by my mis-reading. A tactful call should be made first thing Monday am.

Two bottles decanted (one for adoption by RDA). The nose on the second bottle gives some concern. Spare bottle packed just in case. See you all tomorrow.

Just to confirm that I will be with you in spirit but not in presence tonight, since my expectations regarding work have proved correct in that I do not have the time for a London trip this evening. I will manage a glass later on, so will toast your health with GM90 and hope that you are having a fine set of well-showing bottles.

Can you confirm you have printed please? That will save me from also printing (was about to do so).
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
