Should we meet at 14:30 in the B&F? Would you be terribly upset if I were to bring a lunch bottle as well?

Notes to self:
• Evening bottle of non-SFE non-TFP ≤1994 Port;
• Decanter labels (having printed at home only those pages of the placemats);
• Lunch bottle of Port;
• Decanting kit;
Hexagonal Thing;
• TPF lapel pin.
Anything else?

I will allow you to bring a lunch bottle. As I mentioned in my email just now, I think I will bring some of the tea filters André sent (or you could, additionally) - muslin seems unnecessary and until exhaustive tests have been performed on all brands and types of coffee filter I propose a moratorium thereof, heretofore.
Do we know when the organiser will be arriving? (Alex, that's you.)

You email says 4pm, so 4pm it is. Which is a little late for lunch, so no lunch Port.

The email was based on arriving at the B&F only to decant, presuming that we would have been elsewhere beforehand Thinging. But we should Thing in the B&F, so please revert to your original plan and say 14.30, and bring Lunch Port.

Probably about 6pm, although I may pop over at lunchtime to decant since I am only the other side London Bridge.

Updated food order, following a PM from Mike about an email from Tony. (Post in thread chaps — it allows checking.)

I see that your bonus black pudding is still showing on my order. Splendid work.

I don’t drink when I have sole charge of the children. Wife has been away — my last drink was over a week ago.

Did I mention that I am thirsty?

Starting at 1830 as usual? I can be there for 1745 to help with setup if required.

As I understand it (until I am disabused) two of us will be there from 1430, and AHB will pop over at lunchtime to decant his own bottle. Your help setting up would be welcome.

Will we really be just two? Will all ten others really fail to be tempted by such a plan?

Those tedious 'jobs' may get in the way of our plan to extend this tasting more generally. Too many team managers will be taking responsibility for their underperforming underlings and working twice as hard themselves as a result. (I confess, I am the leader of a team at work, the No Promotions Group. Our motto? "I would prefer not to.")

JDAW - would you take charge of delivery of the food order tomorrow please. If I get a reply from Henry I will text you and post in the thread.
