Grahams going vertical (Munich 08th December): 1927-2003

Post by Axel P »

Guys, please don't spread the word too much, but Germany developes to be a cool Port-drinking-country. Having the recent Vesuvio-tasting in Berlin fresh in mind, there will be a privately organized Grahams vertical tasting of the vintages:

2003, 2000, 1997, 1994, 1991, 1985, 1983, 1977, 1975, 1970, 1963, 1955, 1948, 1945 and 1927.

Although the seats are taken so far, if you are in town by chance let me know and I can try to sneak you in somehow.

Otherwise I post the results as usual.

I have a feeling AHB will be frantically re-scheduling his diary to ensure a visit to his office in Munich is essential that day

That's one heck of a line-up, very cool! The oldest one of this row that I've tasted was the 1955, it was very good. 88) :D

That is, indeed, a wonderful line up and a tasting that I would love to be able to go to.

Sadly, after having travelled so much recently and also being away the week before December 8, if I tried to make a tasting in Munich on a Saturday ... well, let's just say that I would probably not see much of the contents of my port cellar for a very long time and would not be at the TPF offline on December 12th.
