Can do.

Two should suffice, if you have more important things to do.

Given how this tasting has mushroomed perhaps the word 'small' should be dropped from the title of this thread! Oh, and good spot Wolfgang, yes indeed,I did mean F66 ! Not to impact placemats but I'll probably bring that bottle of Sousa 66 colheita (bottled in 92) as well (to make'up for the fact that other chap couldn't,t make it).

Thought the same, but only the replacement to "Modest 1966 Horizontal on 22 of April" came to mind. But this word play can result in a dangerous mine field especially when DRT or JDAW have caught the "completness bug". Have a look e.g. at the sizeable Malvedos vertical.

Following the above discussion, the central header of the placemats has been changed to “1966: A Small Horizontal (the adjective being disputed by people of little ambition)”. Does that fairly capture the sense of the discussion?

Libel! I wasn’t at the Malvedos vertical. Why would I have been, when on that evening I was elsewhere attending The Graham’s Vertical?

Perhaps honour could be preserved on all sides by naming this "A Flight of 1966"?

I enjoyed the intended irony...I quite suspect Axel knew when he started the thread that there was little prospect it would be "small" in any way :)

Review thread created, and some TN threads (perhaps all, perhaps not). But discussion continues here until the event.

I would vote for "a glass or two of 1966" trying to honor a word or two on Port by JJ Forrester.

In view of number of people:

- is it worth 2 flights of 7 ports with second flight being poured by a couple of volunteers while others eat? Or fitting the fourteen 66 VPs onto 1 A3 sheet?

- asking TBH to put the air conditioning on to full? (will also help if ports will sit in glass for a long time, but 14 people produce a lot of heat in that room)

Axel and WS1's ports have been standing at my flat for a couple of weeks and can be delivered with my bottle to Bunghole at some point between 4.00 and 6.00 (earlier to the extent possible).

If anyone is passing by BBR at any point in the day, let me know as there is a nice magnum of champagne there initially intended for the Doty cup but which could be used as an aperitif here.

I like the split. Souza and seven VPs; then eight VPs and crusted. Which seven first?

I know that, I was just highlighting an example and not in any form a comment rubbing it in that you were at the Graham's vertical....

Having updated the placemats, and all the graphic files and TN threads, I have just realised that I haven’t changed the centre header from DRT’s excellent suggestion. Axel’s idea, also excellent, can be saved for another day.
