We are organising a tasting at the invitation of our friends at the Northern Ireland Wine & Spirits Institute. Guests are welcome; cost ≅ £25.

Details to follow. Likely to be a tasting of Colheitas & Aged Whites.

If anyone fancies travelling over we could organise an informal evening in the Morning Star the evening before. Any takers?

(Review of the evening.)

A return to the homeland...I could be tempted! Bit far away yet to know if the diary will accommodate. Will try and firm up one way or another a few weeks before the event.

You'd be extremely welcome. We had excellent fun last time round... not once but twice.

Interesting. Might see if Mrs T wants to join me for a couple of nights. Will report back next weekend.

Hopefully no one else's wife will ask her before I get the chance to.

You're a very loving, dutiful husband. She's lucky to have someone who's so thoughtful.

What was the fee we agreed?

Anybody thinking of travelling over for this, once I have an idea of numbers I can get some quotes for hotels. I make no promises but I may be able to get some discounted rates.

Greetings again, I'm pushing this thread back to the top of the list in order to remind any waverers to declare themselves - please post here or send a message to indicate your attendance. If there is sufficient interest we can organise a supplementary evening on Monday 7th, in which case I need to book a room. Otherwise we will proceed with the Tuesday as advertised in the first post.

Fatal crash of my hard drive today. Will post full review with links etc when I have access to the repaired machine (too fiddly on the phone).

I have a feeling you'll accept it more readily if it reads, "Apple ate my homework".
