Does the season suggest something older, or younger? For my taste younger fuller fruit needs a log fire and snow outside; whereas the more delicate ’85s might better fit warmer weather. Or would that risk VA unpleasantness?
Tentatively, please add me to the list. Will be through London at about that time, but will not know the final details until probably mid-May.
I have 97s I can bring, as well as some 91s and 92s in the UK. Would either have to adopt for the other two themes, or order up something from Davy's and have it delivered.

Will confirm nearer the time, but a Fri night has a good chance of working for me. Happy to do any of the themes mentioned (except 60vs63 as I believe this is already planned for Apr 23rd), or the more general "(optionally blind) bottle to share".
Fridays are generally not so easy for me, so I will stand to one side until a week or two before the date. If the tasting fills without me, I will cope.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.
2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
Hopefully, interupted sleep should be behind me by then (and it is a Friday after all) and so please put me down. Happy with any of the themes(currently acquiring stocks in the first three).

(Though Mrs W’s need for me might suddenly evaporate. Such is the nature of a wife.)
An invitation has been sent to another party for the 14th, and if your wife evaporates, then who knows, perhaps he will be willing to stand aside and revert to you. He has not replied yet.

Thank you, but that is not fair. If that other party accepts, the best that I could be is ‘on the waiting list’. Unless there is another withdrawal, I’m out. A shame, but changes in wifely arrangements — her fault but don’t tell her so — have confounded my plans.
