Due to general lack of enthusiasm I made the tragic decision to leave home with no Port.

Wednesday works for me. Please may I adopt something?

What about we share the Dow mini vertical (Halves 86, 88, 90 and 99)? Sometimes Chruchills has a bit of bottle variation, so this could be seen as a hedge!
Since we had a slow start we could catch up by adding a second theme.

I know just "window dressing" but it would work! :sun:

Halves work with only a few people. With DRT we will be six, (Wolfgang S., Julian W., Adam O., Kevin T., Phil W., Derek T.). Without pre-pouring that is the upper limit for halves. Are we closing this tasting to newcomers: those wanting being on a waiting list?

agreed; since I did not see anyone else attending I thought it could work. Am aslo happy to bring something else if preferred otherwise. Please let me know.

just put the ports ready for decanting very early tomorrow for breakfast :P

Do not worry I will not get side tracked!

Some say opening a Magnum, a normal bt and 3 halves is just appropiate; the majority would think though I am an alcoholic ...

Only people like e.g. William Pitt would see this as moderate

Has anyone let The Bunghole know we are coming?

just finished decanting the ports :D all smells, looks, tastes fine.

two corks of the halves and the one of the 82 are broken, so replaced them with old champagne corks (must be old Bolly RD 79 and 83, I think :) )

Have not spoken to the Bunghole yet; wanted to ask the same; can you call them please or should I do the honors?

The Bung Hole is putting us in the function room: ‟We have some Japanese dignitaries in the restaurant so it is best that you are somewhere else”.
