If it us too late, then no matter. But the GM86 belongs with the 1985s in Group B.

The version you have used is old:
This version as of 23:30 Saturday 12th March 2011. The latest version at www.jdawiseman.com/papers/placemat/placemat.ps says
% This version as of 14:30 Thursday 7th March 2013.

Please use the latest. There are many improvements.

And you have a PM.

Have fun tonight. I'll be at the theatre while you're all drinking nice port.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

If theatre finishes 10:30pm, that’s 5:30pm in New York (EST clocks will go forward later in the night). So you won’t quite overlap.

That was a great night--so nice to meet everyone! Thank you.

Given how youthful so many were, we should revisit this tasting in 5-10 years. :)

"youthful" - is that the same as unnaturally dark and un-evolved for a Port made purely from the fermented juice and distilled spirit of the grape?

the FG 76 probably fights taht description the best.

shocked at how youthful it looked.

granted it doesn't have the violets you get from young port, but the color, tannins and full mouthfeel had me thinking it was a 92
