October 12/13/14 London Offline

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Roy Hersh is visiting London for a few days in mid-October. I've promised him that if there are enough people interested then I will organise an offline. Given the choice of dates, it will likely be the Friday evening (October 12) although I could be persuaded to go for the Sunday evening instead if enough people would be able to make that date rather than the Friday.

No theme yet, but if you're available and interested then please post a reply or PM me.

Alex,

Sorry, I can't make any of these dates due to family stuff. However, I am meeting Roy and Nicos for dinner on the 11th so don't feel too left out 88)

Have fun

Arrangements have been refined a little and anyone on this forum who is free on the evening of Friday October 12th would be welcome to join us at the Crusting Pipe for some port drinking with Roy and a number of other folks.

The theme for the evening will be "The War Years". Roy is sending over a bottle from the 1930s and I will be opening a Croft 1945.

If anyone is free and would like to join us then please send me a PM.

Usual paperwork: attendees might have a little research to do before it starts.
