67 Wine; Tavern On The Green

Thanks for letting us know Roy.

Three years ago I hosted a family meal at Tavern On The Green. Food entirely ordinary, at best. But an impressive tipping policy: the check had two lines for tips, one for the ‘Captain’ and one for the lower-ranked staff. Maybe TOTG has improved in the interval.

67 Wines has previously been mentioned on TPF:

They also have a handy-dandy vertical of Andresen Colheita (vintages I didn’t note, and seemingly not on their website).

Actually, "Trotter's" is no more, they closed in 2007 and reopened as a Tapas bar of a different name. Meanwhile, one of the sr members of trotters (owner?) went on to open 42 in one of those big new white plains highrises.
