Kopke and Krohn Mini-Vertical(s) Thursday 9th July

Post by forest26 » 13:29 Tue 04 Feb 2020

I would like to organise a Kopke/Krohn Vintage Port mini-vertical in July. A small delegation from the Port Forum went to St Luiz last year where we had a splendid tour of the estate and a 3 hour "lunch" and tasting. A, year on, I thought it would be fitting to have a Kopke tasting.

The Krohn is an add-on should we not have enough vintages. There is no obvious connection with Kopke - apart from they begin with "K". If there are enough vintages of Kopke Vintage Port (or St Luiz Single Quinta) out there amongst the Port forum I will drop the Krohn to a later date.

Let me know if you can attend and what you have.

Below all available

Hi Tony, count me in. Both a little lesser known so should be interesting. I have some Kr65 and Kr70, and exactly zero Kopke.

Count me in Tony. Will need to check on bottles (although I fear not a lot)!

Thanks for checking - I'm trying to avoid the Colheitas - which these shippers are more famous for. Otherwise it would be easy.

... although to my knowledge neither has ever been done by TPF, and perhaps should.
