So each person would have a placemat to their side and then space for a plate in front of them?
Good point. Will do both & see what works best on the night.

People are wider than an A3. If there isn’t room for an A3, there isn’t room for us.

Is there any etiquette we need to observe when visiting 67 Pall Mall in terms of the wine(s) we bring or you would like us to bring?

Julian I think the wine library table is long enough to allow a portrait A3 and a place for a plate setting for each person. So rather than traditional glasses sheet in front of the plate, it will be to one side. There is definitely no room to have the glasses pages in front of the plate setting - the table is not deep enough.

Perhaps an outing for archway layout on A3(landscape)+A4(portrait)?

No special etiquette. You can bring ready decanted or ask them to do it when you arrive.

The table is booked from 1800, but I'll aim to get there 1730ish (if not earlier). I'll book you all in as guests.

Our table is on the ground floor. I'll either be there or at the bar (which is pretty much next to the table).

Mike is correct. The table is plenty wide enough for us, but not particularly deep. I'll print the placemats both portrait and landscape so we can see what works best.

Bottles decanted at 0600 this morning. Unsure about quality of first choice, so a backup has been chosen.

My bottle was opened Audouze-style at 22.00 yesterday and decanted at 11.00 today.

Looks and smells delicious. And a tiny sip tasted delicious.

Placemats have been printed - in both landscape and portrait (to ensure we make optimal use of space), with changes to /PackingStyles as suggested by Mike.

Bottle decanted at 0600 this morning. Some seepage, cork having started to fail in transit. Decanting sample tasted admirable but colour a bit light. Not sure. Unopened backup half bottle has been packed, in case primary choice has deteriorated, or if we run out of port.

My bottle decanted at 0715. Couldn’t get much from the nose so hopefully fine.

My bottle decanted at 6.45am. Have high hopes for this one. Will be a little held up as a result of a fatality on the line.
