If a couple of late additions might be acceptable- self plus OJW. If acceptable - OJW food order same as my standard, save that steak medium-rare as opposed to medium-well.

Absolutely, you would be welcome. To help me manage glasses, can I assume that you are bringing two bottles between you?
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Was mildly concerned about the bottle I was planning to bring, so have prepared an alternative as well. Assume it's OK to use the spare slot on the placemat?

Yes spare slot is available I believe. We now have 12 ports between 9 of us. 88)

One of mine is only a half.

So quite moderate really.

I'll bring a spare half-bottle just in case we get thirsty.

I like the idea of "spare" port.

The bottle I am bringing is a half-litre; the OJW bottle decanted last night definitely lost at least 25ml in the decanting process. So, rest assured, we remain comfortably (i.e. very slightly) below 1.25 bottles per head.
