Thanks Alex
Yes I am afraid a somewhat tricky time, thank you for your help much appreciated.

Tom can RGO and I adopt from you please. Very relaxed whatever it is , can I leave to you based on your cellar situation.

The order will go in over the weekend for the food

Suggest adoptions of Dow and Warre to ensure we have all main players present if possible.
My stocks are in deeply buried owcs, so not readily available..

Tom: have you available anything not already being brought? (V, SW, Ts, Ch, EV, F, Cr, Sk, N.)

Hi Christopher,
Keeping it simple on the food front for my first visit: Ribeye medium-rare with additional creamed spinach (or mash) in addition to the beans/pots that come as standard. I have to be wheat-free, although gluten-free tends to be the easier instruction. Thanks!

The easiest (as they are downstairs..) would be Cockburn, Gould Campbell or Kopke

BMHR, CMAG, RGO - something not on the list already or adopt from Tom
(a choice of 4).
I’m afraid childcare next week has got the better of me at this late stage and I won’t be able to take advantage. Enjoy.

I think we’re missing T as well?

I’m also confused about the RP - JDAW, are you bringing both RP and N?

I would also be in favour to have all main players there and adopt if necessary.

No, just Noval was brought from Sussex, because somebody else had RP. I told the organiser not the thread, as at that time there hadn’t been a decision about blind.

Decision needed, and any decision is better than no decision. CMAG now adopting Cockburn; RGO adopting Gould Campbell; ‘The Team’ adopting Kopke.

Happy to be overruled with a different but still specific actual decision.

What about Taylor? I’d rather have Taylor than Kopke...

Tom was the only person offering Taylor, though it was not conveniently available. If he is able I would say please bring; in either case forget the Kopke.

If Nick were able to bring either the Dow or Warre (he is currently down for Graham) then I would donate a Graham also. And if Nick were happy and able to bring two, I would ask him to bring both Dow and Warre, one for himself and one for adoption (whether by person or group).

Taylor was one that Tom had to hand as noted here.

Taylor replaces Kopke: draft of the placemats updated.

Decisions are being taken about what Tom is to provide, without the say-so of the organiser, nor of his apparent substitute AHB, nor of Tom.

I am not the substitute organiser; I merely stepped in to help a friend who was struggling with time. My work is done and decisions revert back to those who will be attending on the night.

Excellent.

To clarify my suggestion:
- I believe myself and Nick were the only people offering any of G, W and D, where I have G, and Nick has all 3.
- current proposals for who brings what has Nick bringing the G.
- if we want to ensure we have all three at the table, I was proposing to bring my G (in addition to the Ch) if Nick were willing and able to change at this late stage and bring either or both of the W and D.

Sure thing; I can bring both Warre's and Dow's. Given it's a Tuesday I think I'll bring some empty halves *if* there's any left over :-)

Thanks Nick, that's great; and I will therefore bring the Ch and G.

No, I don't think so. If my tracking is correct, I think we currently have the following attendees with what they are bringing:

CMAG - Taylor
RGO -
CPR - Fonseca and Eira Velha (AP adopting)
MPM - Croft
GEAG - Smith Woodhouse
JDAW - Noval
PW - Churchill, Graham
AP -
Nick - Dow, Warre
THRA - Vesuvio, Gould Campbell (RGO adopting)
IDJ - Skeffington

which would make it 11 people, with 13 ports from '94.
