I have been trying to resist, but have failed.

Could I also change to the rib eye bone in steak (rare) please. Thanks. It just sounds too good. Yum.

In the unlikely event you need a reserve to fill in, can you put me down please? 66 is my birth year but they haven't lasted long in my household...excepting the rest of a case of Fonseca that's always been spectacular. I would however buy something to fill gaps, or offer to double up on what you'd usually expect to be the pick of the bunch...;-) Best

Tragic alert. Now appearing unlikely I can make this date. I'll confirm one way or another by the end of the week, but thought it would be helpful to signal early so that reserves can get excited...

Tragic indeed! Hope it works out, Mike. Let us know.

Just to let the organiser know, today I dropped off bottles of Sandeman (Justin), Noval (Dave) and Gould Campbell (me) to stand in the Green Cellar until the tasting.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

For the placemats, please could the first post’s list of people and Ports be made current?

Due to unforeseen circumstances Daniel (Caparica) can no longer join us on 10th September.

There is a spare seat available for someone with a 1966.

The winds have shifted, there may now be a chance I can attend. Was supposed to be in Chicago but now a possibility that isn’t happening. Will hopefully figure out before end of tomorrow.

Alas, the winds have not changed. I’ll be landing in Chicago just as the first drops of ‘66 are passing your lips.

Tom, pease also confirm what you want to eat. I think it is too late to add to the special order steaks as they required 7 days notice.

Who can print?

Not yet — still awaiting being told some Ports — but when ready, please, who can print A3 and A4?
