Given the Groom's reputation as a bit of a lad (reformed now I am sure), I wonder if he is familiar with Cockburn.

I've got some Pink Port. Pink is a popular colour with women. I'm sure that Pink would be fit for the new duchess.

W84 LBV. Orange-red, 25% opaque. Nose faint, with pleasant heat. taste strawberry. A hint of grit. Actually quite lovely strawberry-flavoured port. Could easily be a mature VP.

Apparently a Duchess cannot be expected to drink "quite lovely strawberry-flavoured port" that "Could easily be a mature VP."
Snobbery over strawberry seems to be the order of the day. Hey ho.

LBV is not allowed. Have we access to any NV?

The reprimand is fair.

The plan is for a tasting as splendid as that for
E2>V.

Currently, this tasting is full.
Seats have been reserved for two guests: it is entirely plausible that requirement will be one or none. So there will be a reserve list.

Am my eyes receiving me or has my confirmed attendance once again be overlooked- should I reading something into this apparent pattern? Can this oversight be corrected please?

Derek, Ben, and now Ian: I’ve been failing to cope with this. Sorry. Fixed.
We are now over-full. First withdrawl doesn’t create a space.

Understood. Consider me reprimanded. I will try my best to deliver on theme. In any case, Pink Cockburn isn't listed on their website, surely it can't be that they don't make it?

By Royal Command (approx., the Private Secretary didn't actually reply) surely trumps the mother-in-law?

Just three of us have revealed. Please, more.
But four young Oysters hurried up,
All eager for the treat:
Their coats were brushed, their faces washed,
Their shoes were clean and neat —
And this was odd, because, you know,
They hadn’t any feet.
Four other Oysters followed them,
And yet another four;
And thick and fast they came at last,
And more and more and more —
All hopping through the frothy waves,
And scrambling to the shore.
