Chris Appleby will be joining us. He will be bringing a bottle of Sandeman 1970 and wishes to eat the goat's cheese salad and follow that with the rib eye (medium) with a side of beans; and 3 cheeses instead of dessert.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

• Duck liver pâté.
• Gammon with everything including Ian’s egg.
But these is going to be one of those occasions where I opt for the rib-eye steak (medium-rare) skinny fies and green beans, preceded by the truffle mac!

Thanks

I believe that the placemats reconcile to the first post.

I believe that the first post reconciles to the subsequent posts.

Please could somebody verify these beliefs? And the food order?

Someone call the police!!

My Cockburn 1977 has been stollen from the wine fridge!

Would a Fonseca 1970 be a welcome replacement?

Your Ck77 has become a German Christmas fruit bread?! This is the greatest tragedy since Alexʼs F66 was bolognesed.

Not being fond of sweet pastry, an F70 would be much preferred.

A reply has been received from Kensington Palace. For reasons that arenʼt obvious, it is labelled “Private and Confidential”, so shouldnʼt be posted here. It will be brought to the tasting.

It is understandable that Harry would want to keep the venue of his stag night a secret.

No food for me thank you. I will know on Monday if I will be there early enough to set up... or whether I need to wait for Rosie to come home which will mean not getting there until 7-7.30pm

I note that Berry Brothers are running a pop up bar in Flat Iron Square on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th May, 17.00-23.30.

I plan to call in on my way to the B&F to see what they might have. Anyone care to join me?

It would seem rude not to. What time?

My Fonseca 1970 is already at the B&F. I plan to be there at some point in the afternoon to decant it. Are there other bottles at the B&F that I should also decant?

That being so, I accept your kind offer and will deliver my magnum to the B&F for you to decant.

Thank you.
