No longer being able to post from my work laptop as a consequence of an 'upgrade' to our internet security would appear to have been a contributory factor in missing placing my food order. I will therefore place on arrival. Apologies for the oversight.

1867 has several possibilities, most certainly Cockburn, Croft, Dow, Feuerheerd, Graham, Martinez, Sandeman, and Tuke Holdsworth. Perhaps also Gould Campbell, Offley, and Rebello Valente.

Sadly the 1867 has failed! It was a long punt as the level was LS.
I have brought it along anyway.

In what sense failed? Oxidised? Cork not branded? Both?

New policy: previously I have PM’d people with these links. These PMs have been mostly ignored. No longer doing that: posting in the arrangement thread is the notification.

New policy: The Standard Food Order.

Re. Conversations re. 2016 vintage over dinner - I asked Dirk if there were any 2016 tasting opportunities over São João this year, as were arranged for the 2011 vintage. He doesn't think so, but without being requested has very kindly asked Nick Delaforce to put a bottle of the Bioma in the post to me.

The ball is therefore rolling. Could others please approach their contacts, so we can get the show on the road and give the 2016 vintage a properly informed appraisal..
