If there is space, can I please still attend?

Would need to check what I have but I am sure I have some Calem 83, 85 and some from the 90s.

Hi Wolfgang; obviously would love you to join us, but I will need to check whether we can move into the red room (if it is still available). Will let you know ASAP tomorrow.

Yes :D
We are now booked for the red room (instead of green), so have plenty of room. Am glad you're able to join us. I'll adjust the adoptions slightly.

Thanks for preparing. BTW you can include Simon (no food) too.

All, please do let us know what you want over the weekend, as I need to give the order to the B&F on Monday morning. Thank you.

I'm not sure I can see much change in the menu from the last few times and so I will have:

-truffle mac and cheese
-steak (medium-rare) and chips

Thanks

Please confirm that Wolfgang is bringing Cá85 instead of Tony. Please also confirm that Wolfgang is bringing Cá85 rather than CáF85.

And WPS hasn’t read the new menu. Order interpreted as Duck liver pâté; Rib eye steak (240g aged for 28 days) with hand cut chips, Medium-Rare.

uups! I did not read the menu but read the christmas menu yesterday and assumed Sirloin is also on offer.....
Anyway your interpretation was correct! Also please do not forget the peppercorn sauce!

Just checked the bt again to be sure, it is a Calem VP 1985. Is there also a CaF 85?

Confirming both. I am not aware of the existence of any Foz from '85.

I will be following up with emails to all tomorrow to confirm bottles being brought, adoptions, and to chase outstanding food orders, in case any attendees haven't seen recent posts.

How financially punitive would it be to include the ’35?

Food order has been sent (Tom: I've assumed you want a steak, per my email; Alex I've left yours blank for now until we know whether you are able to join us, and whether for food or not).

We could add the '35 for around £25/head if wanted (and the '87 probably for less than an extra fiver, though I haven't checked with CPR to confirm). We are currently 11 bottles, with 8/9 people (depending whether Alex can attend or not). Do people want to include the additional vintage(s), '35 and/or '87 ?

If we were to include an additional bottle, personally, I would prefer the 87 rather than the 35, being more in keeping with the line-up.

Cálem vertical so unusual that I favour the extra. Preferred the ’35; would agree with ’87 if that the consensus.

For placemat purposes, decision by 11pm today please.

Hi,

I am in favour of the 35! Brilliant port! Also just delivered my bt of Ca85 to the Boot&Flogger with instruction to leave the bt in the cellar standing. Along the way I dropped off my British passport application......

cu tomorrow

Forgot to ad I would tolerate the 87 Calem too; just want to mention that in the old days when DRT was present both ports would have been added anyway!

  :tpf:

I am keen on the idea of the 35 if that works. 87 difficult as in mother in law's cellar
