Unfortunately I can no longer make this evening which, given the theme, I am gutted about. Better move me to the "Would like to, but can't" list.

Sorry folks, the Graham 1970 is now needed to console me in my sadness at missing what will be a collection of no doubt fabulous, vintage ports.
I opened a G70 from my small stash of almost-perfect G70 bottles last weekend for the same reason; it was fabulous, but I'm sure would not be as good as being there.

In that case can I bring G70 instead of T70. I have a lot of the former and very few of the latter.
Yes, but still keen that the both the G and T is on parade

I'm afraid work commitments have also got the better of me so I also need to duck out.

Can you Alun (AJH) to the list of attendees for this one ? He will be bringing the T70.

Gents, apologies - a bout of Sinusitis and (more troublesome for a Port tasting) a course of antibiotics means that I will not be joining you for this. :x

Have a great evening.

I can offer the Hutcheson :D Or perhaps more palatable-the Cr that Derek was going to be bringing (although will just need to double this pm).

Apologies for the late order but I will have:

Starter-Truffle Mac and cheese
Main-Steak (medium-rare) and chips

Interestingly AJH has opted for precisely my usual order. Thus:

Starter-Truffle mac and cheese
Main-Gammon steak and chips, no egg but with black pudding

Thanks

No-that is being kept back for the 70@50 tasting earmarked for early 2020 and discussed the other tasting.
