Please would somebody verify that the placemats are consistent with the likely attendees (not necessarily the same as the list, edited by me, in the first post) and also consistent with my adopting from Ian.

Not sure what the limit is for the tasting given pours but if possible can I be on the list or waiting list for myself and guest.

Assuming that Ian is keeping your adopted bottle blind to you JDAW, then the placemats look fine to me.

Regret I'm going to have to duck out of this event as I need to be driving to Heathrow to meet a certain little lady who's landing at 07.15 the next morning..

My bottle decanted at 0730. Some concerns with the nose, hopefully bottle stink but I fear worse. backup bottle also decanted.

I decanted at 7am. I think my bottle is OK. It was the first time I tried it. And the second.

Mine decanted at 0800. So far so good. Always worry about TCA (as I can't really taste it) but smelled fruity enough. A little bite of acidity which I hope will integrate.

Rain? What is rain? I have heard stories, handed down from generation to generation, of this weather phenomenon. But it is merely a myth; a story told to young children to give them hope.

(Seattle is in an all-time record dry spell. Including today, we have not had rain or any measurable precipitation for 53 days and counting. This comes after crushing the winter precipitation record October-April for the 2nd year in a row.)
