Rain? What is rain? I have heard stories, handed down from generation to generation, of this weather phenomenon. But it is merely a myth; a story told to young children to give them hope.
Our "summer" weather yesterday was around 30mm of rain and a maximum of 14C (minimum 12C).

It is still possible that we will also beat the record for most consecutive days above 80 (we're at 13 counting today and the record is 15), but that's looking less likely now because the forecast for this weekend is now only 76 on Saturday and 67 on Sunday. Coincidentally, Sunday also has a decent chance of showers, so may stop that streak as well.
