CMAG was adopting the G80 from me — it is already standing awaiting duty. And it’s coming. (So please have Chris Appleby bring the Dow 1980.)
Very well. A group adoption of the G80 has been decided. Chris will bring the D80.

Help. I appear to have accidentally drunk all of my D83 without recording it correctly (spreadsheet says I have one bottle remaining, but this seems to be a lie); could I possibly adopt one from someone for Thursday night please?

I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly - W.S. Churchill

The most significant thing though, is that it sounds like you'll make the tasting Phil, which is excellent news.

Thanks gents. Very slow, but (mostly) positive progress. Looking forward to the tasting.

Alex - are you assuming A3 placemat printing duties yourself? I can do it if required, but there is a small chance I may be busy and not able to get to the B&F until 1830 on the dot.

I shall be printing the placemats, but very much appreciate the offer of help.

Menu is being sent to the B&F in a few moments...

Those who are bringing bottles, please could you decant them before arrival. It is likely that we will only be able to get into the red room quite close to our planned start time so I will be relying on people bringing decanted bottles and pouring small measures for themselves as we circulate the bottles round the table.

I plan to decant the D85 on Wednesday around 24 hours in advance.

A quick reminder to Tom, Phil, Alex, Simon, Ian and Charles - can you remember to bring the 1966s to the B&F on Thursday so that they can rest in advance of the 66 horizontal next month. Check here if you have forgotten what you are bringing. Thanks.

Any thoughts on when I should decant the G85?

Immediately after decanting please post the time at which done, and any other observations, in the appropriate tasting-note thread (D60, G60, D63, G63, D70, G70, D80, G80, D83, G83, D85, G85).

Any preference on when the G70 is decanted? It has been standing up in the cellar since last week.

Where possible and practical, could bottles be decanted on Thursday morning please. Where not practical, as late on Wednesday as works would be preferred to decanting just before we drink.
