Calm down old chap! The start time in the first post is correct. Just one flight.

It seems that we have enough bottles, but just in case your answer is interesting, please post what 1985s you have.

Also, please contribute to the draft of the food order by posting your desires in this thread, ideally after perusing the menu of the Boot & Flogger.

Between 1645 and 1830? Very lax. Tut tut. Surprised at this imprecision!

Hi Julian
Thank you kindly for adding me. :nirvana:

Can I please order
Crab toast
Chargrilled sirloin steak (medium-rare) with hand-cut chips and grilled tomato

On the port side I have to hand.
Calem, Cockburn, Croft, Delaforce, Dow, Feuerheerd, Fonseca, GC, Noval, Sandeman, SWH, Taylor, Warre

Please let me know if you want any of these - or if the preparations are too far advanced I am happy to adopt.

For my food I would like no starter, main of Grilled scallops and bacon with tiger prawns, spring onion NO CHILLI PLEASE. Desert to be decided on the day.

I've lost track of whether or not I still have a choice as to what ports we choose. I would prefer not to include the magnums but to keep these for another day. If there's still a slot for an additional bottle I would suggest the Churchill - there's a fair amount of this around and it seems to have a fair reputation but it would be useful to compare this against some of its peers.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Food: over half way. Missing Daniel, Ian, Rupert, Tom, and Wolfgang.

Port: let's have a quick vote (that is, vote quickly and in accordance with my wishes, or your vote will be mislaid). Fonseca magnum, or Churchill and another?

Flight booked. I arrive to London City at 1650. I should be able to get from there to the B&F in about 45 minutes: midway through the optimum window.

Now, what am I required to adopt, please?

I will consider my food order separately.

Much as I would like to see the F85 Mag, the deeper that we're able to go into this horizontal the better for me and so agree with the inclusion of the Ch (which I recall being rather good when Glenn came over last year) and the Ca.

Food Order (and a departure from recently):

Starter-Potted Shrimps and granary toast

Main-Char-grilled Sirlon (medium-rare) with hand cut chips and the Peas and Beans

Dessert-TBD

I'll await JDAW's update about which bottle I should be bringing.

Pus will be either cheese or nothing, TBD..

I will be on the north east bank of Loch Tay when this happens. If I open a T85 and F85 do I get a vote for WOTN?
