1992 Quinta do Vesuvio Colheita

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Freshly drawn from the barrel. Reddish brown core and an orange rim, 30% opaque. Subdued on the nose, a touch of coffee and some mandarin. Soft and smooth on the palate with a lovely texture. Lots of orange and a powerful coffee to the core. Lovely balance to the palate with perfect levels of acidity. A big and flavoursome finish. This is a great mouthful of port, round and full. 91/100. Drunk 22-Sep-14. Pop 'n' Pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

V92C. Slightly hotter and fuller than the Noval colheita. Very long and full.
