TV76: pink-orange, 30% opaque. Nose had milk chocolate. Taste light, very floral, with some small measure of perfume.

Lighter than both 70s which preceded it. Clear rim with a burnt orange/light burgundy core. Nose is hot and a bit simple, lacking in fruit but with some floral notes. Palate is soft with a perfectly respectable amount of red light fruit but also a tad simple. An enjoyable wine on any other night i'm sure. 85 pts.

Burnished gold in colour, light; 10% opaque. Soft blackcurrants on the nose, lots of golden sultanas. Neutral entry, sweet acidity bringing mature fruit that becomes surprisingly mouthfilling and dominating to be rich and powerful. Lovely fruity and lingering finish, full of rich fruitcake. Elegant as well as flavoursome. From a very hot year. 89/100. 22-Mar-13. Decanted 6 hours.
